Le Café de la Poste

After so many years I finally put my opinion on this bar which also has food that is worth the detour,Welcoming, smiling people, who have always managed this place with their heart! Hélène and Pierre knew how to convey their good humor and their passion for good food and good fare! A friendly atmosphere and plenty of good beers! For the food, it's very simple, very good, very local and all sprinkled with generosity from our dear Yael!This bar is definitely the business to keep for miles around!Once you enter, take the time to chat, smile, share a beer (or something else for that matter), play or even taste their cuisine! You will come out with your stomach and heart full of good things!

What a great little bar! It was a quiet Tuesday evening but we enjoyed our time at the bar and were grateful to be let in with our dogs (I just wish we could have had another drink and not had to get up to early the next day). Great selection of beers and spirits and I finally got to try Picon. The food was good too, a mix n' match selection of things like frites/ pasta or salad, topped with meat, cheese, onions, cornichons and lots of different sauces etc., - you choose what you want then it arrives piled up in a basket! The lady who served us was lovely, and took the time to answer all of my questions about how to drink Picon. We will definitely we back!
